Fiddler on the Roof w/ SECLO & OC Symphony: we need DANCERS!! (Los Alamitos)
at in Long Beach
Southeast Civic Light Opera in Los Alamitos is currently casting for our spring production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF with the Orange County Symphony Orchestra. The show runs from April 12th to the 29th at the Liberty Theater (one week of performances = Thursday, Friday, & Saturday evenings with a Sunday matinee).
We need DANCERS, particularly MEN (will also consider women willing to dress/dance as men). Your ability and/or willingness to sing is a big plus!
Our audition period has been extended through this weekend --[EXPIRED...still looking for dancers, however]-- It is recommended that dancers (in addition to actors/singers) attend one of these sessions to meet with and dance for our choreographer.
Please respond to the Craigslist address above with your name and info re: qualifications (experience, professional training, and/or past theatrical work). Please include a rough estimate--i.e. price range--of what you would typically charge for a project of this nature. As stated above, all dancers will perform a routine for our choreographer at some point, so bear in mind: the more trained/professional you are, the less rehearsal and overall time commitment you will ultimately need...
