Female Vocalist Needed for Funk/Motown Style Band (LA)

The Cherry Darlings are looking for a dynamic new singer to revolutionize the band and take us to the next level! We play our own brand of funk and soul with elements of 60s rock and motown. Our first singer sadly has had to depart because she got a really good job doing bookings at Cirque du Soliel, we wish her the best. We are a fairly new band so it is a good time to join since our creative direction has not fully solidified, and youd be able to stamp your own impression on the sound. And although we are new we have managed to get a handful of shows in the downtown area, so we have established at least a bit of credibility. Our repertoire is a mix of originals and covers. Some covers we have done are "Rock Steady" by Aretha Franklin and "Nowhere to Run", but the fast Dusty Springfield version. Please include any headshots or demos you can link to, and we look forward to auditioning you. Rock on.
